Here are some reviews!

Steve

Missy's cabin was a perfect choice for a secluded, city escape! Communication before arrival was excellent and we felt very welcome and at home in the upper cabin. Seasonal treats were a nice and much needed surprise after the drive. Especially appreciated the automatic outside light which helped navigate in the dark. Would love to come back in warmer months to enjoy the lake and back yard.

Max

We had a fabulous time. The cabin is lovely, it is near to all the local activities and the property was great and full of options. The welcome local snacks were also a wonderful surprise. We will be sure to tell others and book again if we return to this area!

Jule

This was my second time staying here. I absolutely recommend it. Lovely, private spot with beautiful lake view. Kayaks and hammock are a big plus!

Elizabeth

Missy’s cabin was very woodsy and a wonderful break from the city. Lake was beautiful and we enjoyed a swim. We would come back in a minute - great host and pretty place.

Melissa

Stumbled on this place while looking for a quick getaway. The cabin was perfect, the lake access was easy, not to mention pristine. The place was filled with everything you could want or need, Missy was really thoughtful and anticipated everything for a prefect experience. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning.

Kim

Missy is quick to answer all questions, pictures are true to life, cabin has rustic feel but has all of the necessities plus the use of kayaks, canoe, rafts and life jackets. Plus the lake view is beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing.

Scott

We had a great time. I wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect getaway.

Jule

This adorable cottage is exactly what I needed. Peaceful location on a pretty little lake. Great place to relax and refuel. Enjoyed the view, the kayak and the privacy. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. Missy was very accommodating and a wonderful host. Definitely recommend!

Audrey

Very quiet, beautiful lake. We enjoyed ourselves.

Brian

We loved it and will definitely be back again!

Dawn

This cabin is just as shown in the photos, it is right on the lake, which is absolutely amazing to wake up to each morning. The cabin has all the comforts of home, Missy has the cabin filled with everything you need for your stay. Missy and her family are very accommodating and Missy checks in with you to see if you need anything. You are secluded but also close to town, a perfect balance. Wish we had better weather to spend more time on the lake with the kayaks and canoe that were there for us to enjoy. Hope to get back again and do more fishing also. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Mark

What a fantastic get away spot. I'll be making this a yearly destination for sure.

Vince

Missy was a great host. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was perfect! As described, very cozy. The weather wasn't ideal during our stay, so we didn't spend much time outside, but the lake it sits on is beautiful, very peaceful. Would stay again! Thanks Missy!

Manda

We used this cabin as a place to stay during a wedding weekend. We didn't get much used of it but what we did use was amazing. The cabin is great and has everything you could ever need and the view is great of the lake. The only two "bad" parts of the cabin was the driveway which was muddy and could be easy to get stuck in and the water pressure. There was no water pressure in the cabin, the shower and sinks just kind of trickled out. That didn't stop us from having a great time and Missy was great and very welcoming.

I stayed at the cabin for a month beginning October 2016 and it was a fabulous experience. I treated my stay as a "retreat" - the first stop of taking one year off from work. I used the space to sleep, read, write, journal, and unwind...I ran each day along the lake and on the beautiful tree-lined roads, drank coffee on the dock right on the lake, watched ducks and geese fly above.... The cabin was a perfect place to relax, calm down, think, and enjoy the beauty of the area. The charming town of Norwich is just a 10-minute drive away. I joined the YMCA there and took fitness classes - I highly recommend the Y if you're here for an extended stay. Norwich has great supermarkets, a health food store, and even a Wal-mart on the outskirts of the town. Missy and her family were wonderful hosts and were always there to help me with anything needed. In fact, they are SO great...that I'm staying another month in another property of theirs in Norwich! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your wonderful cabin, Missy!

William

Missy's cabin is just as described; cozy with lake access just steps from the deck overlooking the back yard. The cabin is stocked with anything you could need from dishes to towels and kayaks so you can enjoy the lake. This is our second stay at one of Missy's rentals and it's been great each time. She is easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to any of my questions. We will definitely be back to the cabin again!

Bob

We stayed here for the Baseball HOF induction. It far from Cooperstown, but it was nice to get away from all the crowds and swim in the lake. Water was great for swimming. The NY Pizza in New Berlin - was very good for a small town. Great pizza and full meals at affordable prices. We ate there twice!! We live in Las Vegas, so we know about good food.

Janet

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was really clean, fully stocked and exactly as described. It was really cold that weekend, but the cabin was nice and toasty. And even though it was cold we sat on the dock in both the evenings and mornings to enjoy the lake, which was really beautiful and peaceful. The leaves were just starting to turn color. Missy met us when we arrived, was very pleasant, suggested things to do in the area. We had a lovely time.

Katherine

Missy was a wonderful host. So easy to arrange our stay with and super lovely when we met her on our second day there! The cabin was fantastic. It was absolutely perfect for a getaway from the city for the long weekend. Everything we needed was provided and we couldn't have been more comfortable. And the lake is amazing! I highly recommend staying here if you like the woods, lakes, and a peaceful environment.
